Blue Boxes: Having black writing against a bright blue background, it really stands out so people are most likely to flick open the magazine and get their attention grabbed by the bright colour so they're compelled to read what's inside.
"This Week": The bright yellow box at the bottom is also another eye-catching colour, so you'll look straight at it. It also has small photographs on it, teasing you as to what's inside by only showing you little pictures. This technique will make you want to find the page the photograph goes with so you can read what it's all about.
Headings: There are a lot of big headlines that jump out of the page. The page gives you just a little bit more information than the cover.
Focal Point of Image: I actually think that the focal point of the contents page is the bright blue boxes, because they're the most colourful aspects of the page.
I think my contents page is very bright and colourful. It isn't absolutely overloaded with information and I am pleased with my ability to be able to copy it from a magazine. I think I managed to use PhotoShop well to create this cover. However, I wasn't pleased with the fact that the colours differ greatly from the colour scheme I used for my front page, if I could change something, I would change the colour scheme of either one of my products. I would also have liked to put the photographs in straight away to see what it would look like completed. It's an appealing contents page and I think it could capture the attention of an audience that observed it.
